Fun Time at Petro Sains, KLCC

Last Friday Mamarazzi brought me to Petro Sains at KLCC. We took LRT to go there.

A funny thing happen while we were waiting for the LRT.

A Chinese lady was shouting "Dxx Lan! Dxx Lan"( sound like foul language in Chinese). Mamarazzi was puzzled at who she was shouting at.Look see look see....saw a boy running to that lady. Alamak! English name + lisp = embarrassment.

Anyway, we got to KLCC safely without anymore funny episode.

When we arrived, we went and claim the tickets from the Counter. Got two complimentary tickets from Mommy Ling

The journey starts with "The Dark Ride". It scary for me in the beginning but after that I was amazed. Sorry no photo taking or video allowed during The Dark Ride.

Kinda disorientated after disembark from the ride. Then we start our journey of discoveries.

There were so many things to do there. I get to "create" a Tornado. Then played with "lightning".

Played with the "balls"

Surprised that they have "Wayang Kulit" (Shadow Play). I got to play a bit with it

Hmmm.... this fella looks familiar.

Mamarazzi said if I can "catch" this car, I can bring it home.....but.....why the car kept disappearing ah?

Wow....got a Mini Crane for me to "drive"

I had a great time driving the Crane.

Argh...so many ME....

Wow....it's endless.

The Lost world

Out of the Lost World we came to the modern world of discovery pulak. Found magnet that can make the "hair" move.

Manicure for Mamarazzi?

This Uncle showed me how to make music out of wine glasses.

I even got to fly an aeroplane.

A bit of time at the Playland while waiting for the Helicopter Simulator Ride(RM3/person) brings us to the Oil Rig.

The ride was super exciting and much cheaper that similar rides elsewhere.

At the Oil Rig, I saw something incredible.

A lady put a burning rock onto the palm of a man's hand and it did not burn his hand!!!

Then I "drove" like mad.

Huh....still come out last place ah?

Okay what about this car. Opps....my leg not long enough. Mamarazzi had to "help" press the petrol pedal.

Ooo...this is the place where the Oil Rig Crew sleep and eat ya?

Gosh! Here also have super slide. Just like the LEX Slide in Empire Shopping Gallery. Too bad am not allowed to play that.

WOW! Giant "piano".

Love this place. A lot of musical and art stuffs to play. I play till I didn't wanna go home. But Mamarazzi said it's late already. Later the LRT will be jam packed with office workers going home.

But before we go home, we stopped by the gift shops there. Bought some toys home for me. Surprised that the things there are quite cheap.

Some toy that looks like Lego but it's not.

I wanna make a car. Kinda hard to make but Papa managed to make one for me.

The next day, I told Papa I wanna go Petro Sains again but Papa said no coz no more free tickets. I like that place. I could spend whole day there.

Mother's Day Celebration at Armada Hotel, PJ

Another "basi"(stale) post.

Last weekend after mulling over where to celebrate Mother's Day, Papa decided to make reservation for Buffet at Armada Hotel, PJ.

They were serving Peranakan Cuisine.

Saw this lovely "Candy Kitchen".

I was getting ready to "cut" it but "kena tahan" (refrained) by Mamarazzi just in time.

In the end, I took two dessert.

One I gave to Mamarazzi's friend.

And one for Mamarazzi. *pandai bodek*

Papa and Auntie Florence love the array of sushi there.

Then Mamarazzi brought me to claim the Free Caricature.

Supposed to draw Mamarazzi but she said draw me better la.

Jeng! Jeng! Not a very good likeness of me ya? Anyway, I kena Mamarazzi "piak-ed kao kao" coz I "conteng"(defaced) it when I got home.

I love the "Bihun"

Mamarazzi asked me to try the Dim Sum but I don't like.

Apart from makan(eating), there were contests too.

Mamarazzi registered for Sushi Making Contest.

Betul or not oh? Someone who doesn't takes sushi joining Sushi making contest??!

Just before we came home, Papa saw someone had "cut" the Candy Doll Kitchen.

Papa also took the opportunity to "dismantle" some of parts of the kitchen for me to play with la. Wah...very nice stove with kitchen cabinets.

Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh, Subang Jaya

Yesterday, Uncle Arthur commented "No food?" . Well, here is a food post that Mamarazzi is sure Uncle Arthur would love.

Very long time have not been here for quite some time.

Mamarazzi felt like eating "porky" the other day. Kepong is too far and we were rather hungry at that time. Hence, Papa drove to Subang Jaya and had Yu Kee BKT lo.

Foreign worker took our order. A bit "Chicken and duck talk" coz Mamarazzi was not sure in what language to talk to the boy.

Usually we would order a "Mixed BKT" for one person and then an extra bowl of intestine and stomach. Since the foreign worker does not understand, Mamarazzi "hentam" and ordered a "Mixed BKT" for one person and the innards for one person.

STop.....Take photos first! Anakrazzi LOL.

The BKT with yummy intestine(RM10). Mamarazzi and Papa liked but I don't like.

I like the soup and the "deep fried ghost"(Chinese Crullers)

Vinegar Pork Trotters(RM10). Used to be Mamarazzi's favourite but now she had tasted the Kepong ones, she preferred that.

Anyway, this one is good enough for those who does not like spicy pork trotters.

And the best way to eat BKT...well....with my shoes off lo....

BYOB (Bring-Your-Own-Bottles) Is In USJ Now!!!

Not long ago, Mommy Ling gave Mamarazzi a bottle of floor Cleaner that she bought from BYOB. Mamarazzi found that it was very good. Finished liao but kinda lazy to go all the way to Cheras to get refill.

Can you guess how happy she was when she saw Sasha announced that BYOB will be opening in Subang Jaya?

Well, on Sunday we finally managed to drop by BYOB Subang Jaya Branch.

It was kinda hard to find but me managed to find it some how. Small place but tastefully decorated and neat too.

Sitting while waiting for Papa and Mamarazzi to decide on what to get.

Quite a lot of products here. From body gel, soap, detergent to floor cleaner. They've got almost every cleaning products here.

Very clever of them to put sample of the products nicely labeled for customers to see.

The products are stacked neatly on the shelves.

We managed to get quite a variety of products. Total bill comes up to RM34 only. Not bad ya? Not only it's environment friendly but pocket friendly too.

Thank you very much to Sasha for helping us to clean the bottles before refilling them.

"Empress Dowager" Jelly?

Happy Monday to you! How was your weekend?

The other day Mommy Ling gave some "Gwai Fah Koh"(Empress Dowager Dessert) for Mamarazzi to taste.

Mamarazzi was curious how she made that. She thought it was from Chrysanthemum flower but Mommy Ling told her it's not and that if Mamarazzi would like to try to make, she have some of the flowers.

The next day, Mommy Ling pass her this bottle of Osmanthus Flower. Can buy this flower from Tea shop/houses.

Using a packet of Jelly strip, Mamarazzi tried to make some "Empress Dowager Jelly" yesterday morning.

She boiled the flower with the Jelly strips till the Jelly melted.

Added some Gei Zhi .

Jeng! Jeng! some "Empress Dowager Jelly Fish.

Hmm....must be Mamarazzi boiled the flowers too long. The flower all did not float in the jelly like those that Mommy Ling gave. Looks like need to experiment some more lor!

Mamarazzi's Asam Eggs

Mamarazzi was getting bored of cooking the same old things over and over again. Hence the other day she decided to cook one of her favourite dish. Unfortunately, this is not something that Papa and me liked. That's why she seldom cook it. It's Asam Eggs

The ingredient are dried shrimps, belacan (shrimp paste) and Fresh Chili. Unfortunately she didn't have fresh chili at home so she substituted it with dried chili.

In the old days, the ingredients would be pound in this mortar.

But now, its much easier with a Blender. However, some folks would insist that ingredient pounded in mortar tasted better.

To make asam eggs, of course must have Asam juice. She took about a tablespoon of asam paste and "melted" it in hot water.

Some fresh Ladies Fingers

Diced an onion. Don't need much of onion. Just need some to fry it in oil for the aroma.

Some eggs, pepper and salt. Beaten. Usually people would make Asam Eggs out of Hard Boil Eggs but Mamarazzi doesn't like Hard Boiled Eggs so she just fry them.

The method...well....fry the eggs. Put aside. Then fry some of the onions in the Wok till the aroma arise. Add in the Chili paste and fry a bit. Followed by the Ladies Fingers.

Last pour in the Asam Water after filtered away the asam seed. Dump the fried eggs into the Wok. Add a bit of sugar according to individual taste.

When the Ladies Fingers are cooked. Then it's time to serve.

Hmmm...the coloring not that nice as compared to using fresh Chili. But beggars can't be chooser, right?

As for me, Mamarazzi fried Eggs with the dice onion.

Goes well, with my rice and soup. Yum yum yummy....

The Best Kopi O in Town

The other day Papa wanted to drink Kopi O. He wants me to make. So I make lo....with some help from Mamarazzi.

First get a packet of Kopi. Shake shake a bit so that the bag in the packet goes down.

Like that when I cut the packet, the bag inside won't get cut.

Take out the bag and put into Papa's mug.

Boil hot water with Mamarazzi's help

Pour the hot water in to the mug ....also with Mamarazzi's help

Argh...hot ah hot ah....lucky pour half a mug. Can still hold the top part.

Papa drank and said I made the BEST KOPI O in town. He asked me how much? I told him One Ringgit.

The next day he asked me to make again. And he asked me how much? This round I replied TEN. Mamarazzi was thinking "wah....this boy so business minded ah? Got demand, can increase price so high".

But the Papa said "Ten Sen?" and I replied "Ah".

Note to Mamarazzi : Must teach me the difference between TEN SEN and TEN RINGGIT.

Bath Time a Fun Time with Carrie Junior

Some time ago, Mamarazzi was invited to attend a sharing session organised by Carrie Junior. Unfortunately, Mamarazzi was not able to attend.

However, the company was so kind as to send some products to Mamarazzi for me to try out.

After my afternoon nap, Mamarazzi said there is a "pressie" for me.

Here is the video went she "presented" me with the goodie bag. Can you see why Mamarazzi "pengsan sekejap"(fainted for awhile)?

Well, here are the products Carrie Junior sent me. Wah...such colourful packaging.

Carrie Junior Baby Bath which comes in two variants - Cheeky Cherry and Groovy Grapeberry. I've got the Cheeky Cherry.

Carrie Junior Baby shampoo. Also the same variant and this round I've got the Groovy Grapeberry

For those like Mamarazzi who is ~~lazy~~ wants convenience, here are the "2-in-1" hair and body wash.

More choice to be had for this, as they comes in Cheeky Cherry, Groovy Grapeberry and Double Milk for the 100ml, 300ml and 750 ml pack while the Apple Joy, Orange Slash and Fruity Delight comes in 200ml pack.

Aha...then comes the after bath care. Baby Lotion. Also two variants - Cheeky Cherry and Groovy Grapeberry.

Mmm...this Baby Powder certainly suit me. Nice to use to go to school or go gai-gai. Makes all the smelly sweat go away.

Last come Baby oil. Hmmm...usually for use to sooths and moisturise my skin.

But I guess I can use it to moisturise my tail too. My tail always got tangled.

Of course, I tried out the products lah. Mmmm....just a few drops of the bath, already have a lot of bubble.

I like. Love the fragrance too.

The design of the bottle also very cute. It's elephant leg. Got cute hooves at the bottom. Much easier for me to grip especially with the curvy design.

Next...must shampoo my hair. *Rub Rub Rub*. Got action like the TV advertisement or not?

But jokes aside lah,...the shampoo also very "economical". Just a few drops and rub a bit, a lot of bubble comes out.

Papa said shampoo hair daily, makes hair grow faster wor. Hmm...if I "shampoo" myself, would I grow faster too?

After a long and lovely bubble bath, must moisturise my skin too.

No doubt the Baby bath contains Fruito-E, a special combination of fruit extracts rich with vitamins and nutrients aimed to nourish, moisturise and protect my skin, but no harm putting on some lotion, right? The lotion also have Fruito-E.

It says here "Groovy Grapeberry".

Le me try first.

*rub rub*...rub rub tum tum . Rub rub everywhere.

Mmm...I like the fragrance but Mamarazzi said it feels a bit too strong for her. She was worried that the fragrance might irritate my skin. But I used the products for a few days already. No problem so far.

In fact, each day when I come home from school, I look forward to my Bath Time as it is FUN TIME. People bring rubber duckie into the bath tub but I bring my cars. Yay! Car Wash Time!

Home Tutor, Anyone?

Yay! Yay! This week is Examination week in my "school".

Why am I so happy? Coz am not sitting for examination this year. The Principal said no exam for my class. Only those from Year 5 and Year 6 have Exam.

Poor those Kor Kor and Jie Jie. Mamarazzi can see the grandparents were quite stressed about it. Yup, you read correctly. It's the grandparents that fetch the kids to and fro from school nowadays since most parents are working.

Some of grand parents were talking about needing tutor for the kids soon coz they would be entering Primary School. They were asking each other if they know anyone willing to give home tuition coz they are reluctant to send the kids to tuition centre.

Having a home tutor it's good as the kids would have one-to-one attention from the tutors and it's safer too. The parents or grandparents also won't have to stress about sending and fetching the kids from tuition centre.

To bad lah, they didn't ask Mamarazzi or else she can recommend to them one website to go to in order to find suitable home tutor for their kids. It matches students with suitable tutors. Parents just need to sign up for Free the Request Form Online and the company will contact them.

Mamarazzi browse through the website and saw that the tutors registered there are not just any tutor but most of them holds a Degree or something similar.

Love the part where they put in the Budget Guide. It's scary to hear from some of Mamarazzi's friends who saids how exorbitant some tutors out there would quote for home tuition. It's good that the company put a guide there.

It's also suitable for those individual who is looking for tutoring jobs to supplement their income. Time are hard nowadays. Unlike some job agency, this website allows them to sign up as Tutor for free.

After that, they can post their resume online and also what kind to tutoring that they are looking for. Then they can starts browse through the website for jobs that suits them the most. It's much better than finding jobs by way of words of mouth.

In another way, it's safer too for the tutors especially the female tutors coz the company would have the some records of the person requesting for tutor.

Mamarazzi is impressed by their website. They have Tutors registered with them all over Malaysia. She is bookmarking this website for future use. Very convenient and easy. Love their cute logo.

Tax & Lunch with Auntie Florence

Some time last month Auntie Florence and Mamarazzi decided to be good citizen and submit their Tax via e-filing.

It was a breeze. Very fast and easy. Maybe it was still early and not many people logging yet.

Well, after the "taxing" session, we all went to have lunch at Pizza Hut nearby.

Funny...lunch time also not many people. Only 2 or 3 tables occupied.

Very hungry leh after the "taxing session". Planned to eat a lot. Hence we sat at table for 6 persons although there were only 4 of us.

Haiz...the staffs there kept insisting that we sit at table for four. Aiyo..the place so empty lah. Cannot sit at table for 6 meh? More roomy mah. Eat also will be more comfortable and can order more. If the place was full then we understand lah.

Mamarazzi ordered the Set Meal which comes with two Pizza, four mushroom soups, breadsticks and a jar of pepsi.

See! so many things. If put in table for 4 would be very cramped leh. This one have not include my Kiddy Meal yet leh.

Kids eats for free if purchase above certain amount.

I opted for "noodles". Presentation nice but I did not finish the noodle coz it was "sticky". Mamarazzi said maybe overcooked. Papa said could be they forgotten to add some oil in it.

Very healthy kids meal coz it comes with a cup of Soya Bean. Moreover, it comes in a plastic cup which is kids friendly. Hmm...would appreciate it if the straw was a bit longer. Kinda hard to drink with a short straw.

But then I was kinda naught. I preferred soft drink.

Overall, the set meal at Pizza Hut was quite worth it.

Yucky Macaroni With Tomato Sauce

Pity Papa. Kena "jailed" in the room for over a week. Everyday eating the same thing over and over again. Must be boring.

Mamarazzi dug out some Macaroni and tried her hands on making Macaroni with Tomato Sauce.

She was not sure how to go about it and ngum ngum Auntie Little Bird was online that day. Got some pointers from her la.

She dug around the fridge and found a tomato, a sage leaf and some mushroom. Fresh mushroom . Don't know the name. Diced them

Got some minced meat from the freezer. Diced some garlic and onion.

Meantime, boiled some macaroni. Added a bit of Olive oil.

Fry everything together. Opps....don't have tomato puree . Hentam la......put tomato sauce la.

Jeng! Jeng! Nice looking leh.

Memang ada gaya.(Got style)

Taste? Eeeerrrrr ...blurp....don't wanna eat can ah? I don't like la. Papa said taste good maybe coz he "kebuluran"(Starving) after being "jailed" for so long gua.

RM38 A Duck at Ming Xiang Restaurant, Subang 2

Some time last month, Mommy Ling informed Mamarazzi about RM38 Roast Duck Promotion at Ming Xiang Restaurant.

As stated in the sign, "Offer price on the 28th of the month; roasted whole duck -RM38"

Being kiasu, Mamarazzi "seven early, eight early"(very early) went to buy.

Wah.... saw glistering BBQ Pork.

It was still early. Only saw a roast duck, a roast Chicken, Sausage and Roast Pork.

The Waitress there said have to pre-ordered but the she consulted the Lady Boss. Since there is one Roast Duck hanging there, the Lady Boss told her to get it for Mamarazzi.

While waiting, Mamarazzi also "tapau-ed" (bought) Roast Pork Rice for Papa. Recommended by Mommy Ling. Price RM3-90. Cheap.

Also "Tapau-ed" Roast Pork Noodle for me.

It came with a bowl of Wan Ton Soup. There was two wantan in it.

Jeng! Jeng! The roast duck. Actually this is just half a duck. Not bad ya. Mamarazzi tasted.

If Mamarazzi not mistaken, there are two types of Roast Duck. One is salty and one is sweet. The one at Petaling Street are the salty type while the one sold here are sweet type. Of the two, Mamarazzi preferred salty duck. However, the Ming Xiang Roast Duck was not bad.

Sam Kan Chong at Sunway Pyramid

Another back logged post.

Sometimes we go "gai-gai" we have no idea what to eat. At times we simply "tembak". Like the other time we were in a Lift at Sunway Pyramid.

Papa asked wanna eat what. I said noodles. Ngum..ngum.. there was an advertisement of this "Sam Kan Chong Restaurant". Mamarazzi said , ok...let's makan(eat) there.

Hmmm.....not fair....you guys having Honey Lime and Lime Juice while I only got to drink Jasmine Tea!

Papa had the Dried Noodles. According to our Waitress, the noodle are made by the restaurant. Not prepacked.

Not sure how good is the taste of the noodles.

Mamarazzi had the Curry Bihun. At first she want bihun and noodles but the Waitress told her cannot mix.

However, she finds the Curry tasted pretty good. But she didn't like the Tau Pok.

Mamarazzi's set meal comes with a plate of Vegetable of the day. That day it was "Kacang Panjang" (Long Beans?".

I had Dumplings noodles. I had the noodles while Papa and Mamarazzi had the dumplings. Mamarazzi did not fancy the dumplings as she finds the meat was minced too much.

Total bill came up to RM41.45.

The Power of Interactive Play Parenting Workshop

Dear Papa,

Auntie Little Bird said that Fisher-Price will be having "The Power of Interactive Play Parenting Workshop" on 16th June 2012.

Fisher-Price will be bringing child development expert, Ms. Carrie Lupoli, Founder of Live & Learn (Singapore) to share her knowledge on the importance of interactive play with Children.

Would you go with me please?

The workshop is to share the benefits of play through five development stages and to further encourage adults to spend time with Children.

As you know, play is the best means in helping my brain to develop and I learn more. It would be great if you could come and play. After all, Joshua miss Papa *bodek mode on*. Playing together will enhance our relationship.

It's no fun to play alone.

According to Auntie Little Bird, at the workshop they will show us many different kinds of activities and exercises that we can do together. They also will further elaborate on the different tools that can be used to further assist the different development stages of children.

Maybe we can learn what to do together. I have a drawers full of toy cars.

Pretty please, Papa. Will you go with me? Entry fee is only RM60 per person and we get over RM100 worth of goodies.

RM100 Shopping Voucher from YAWAS

On 26th of April, Papa received a call from Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor(YAWAS). He was asked to go to Econsave Sg Buloh at 9.30am on Sunday 29th coz they were going to give out RM100 shopping vouchers to selected YAWAS member.

Hence on Sunday Mamarazzi went to the Econsave.

Saw that there were canopy put up next to Econsave and some banners "Jom Shopping". Mamarazzi armed with my YAWAS card, got down from the car and headed there.

When she arrived there, she was told by the Organiser that the function is for those aged 60 and above. YAWAS function will be at 10.30am and that the personnel from YAWAS had not arrived and that YAWAS function is actually "tumpang" (piggy back) to their function.

Saw a few families with kids also there. They were waiting for YAWAS personnel too. Then one family went to Econsave. The came back and told the rest of us that the YAWAS personnel are inside Econsave.

Ahhhh...finally. Found them. Mamarazzi informed the personel that many are waiting at the other side coz didn't know about it and that they received wrong information.

Anyway, she finally registered and was given a pass and told to wait for a short briefing. Nice number or not? Can buy numbers?

This pretty lady briefed the participants on what to do. Then off Mamarazzi went shopping!

Hmmmmph!

Super sulky! See the tag! Little kids were supposed to do the shopping but I didn't get to do.

But kira okay lah coz she came back with a trolley full of stuffs

Papa saw and said "Hah? like this only ah?". Kena Mamarazzi ketuk. Of course la. RM100 nowadays can't buy much but at least it is something.

She bought a tray of eggs, some Vitagen, nutrigen, Dutch Lady Chocolate Milk, bath foam, Orange Juice, Mozzie spray and some mineral water.

When she was making payment, the amount came up to RM94 plus only hence she grabbed two packets of Chocolates and a packet of sweets. Had to pay from own pocket 60sens only.

She was given a Goodies Bag from Econsave. These are the items from the goodies bag. Hmm....didn't realise that Econsave also came out with product with under their own brand name.

Kinda thankful lah for getting the RM100 shopping voucher. Some people say certain parties trying to buy votes but then hentam la. No need to turn everything into a political issue. People give money we take lo. How to vote, is at our own discretion.

Poon Choy at Restaurant Mei Six Hin, Prima Sri Gombak

Mamarazzi have been thinking of eating Poon Choy for quite some time. The last time she ate was at Desa Aman Puri.

Hence for Mamarazzi's birthday, we went to have Poon Choy. Papa found this restaurant from http://eatlah.blogspot.com/2011/10/restaurant-mei-six-hin-prima-sri-gombak.html.

It was a spurn of the moment decision. Mamarazzi sms-ed the number there and she was surprised that the Lady Boss called her back immediately.

The Lady Boss was very friendly and gave good recommendations.

Hence after picking everyone up , we started journey to the place at 7pm. Very bad luck . Stuck in horrible traffic jam. KL-Seremban Highway jam. MRR2 also jam. Heard in the radio that it's due to some people making movie around Midvalley and everyone were slowing down to look. That and top up with rain...we arrived at the restaurant at 9pm.

Oh what a beautiful sight greeted us.

Yummy ..BIG POT of Poon Choy! The Lady Boss kept it warm for us.

Sure can finish or not ah? So much ....

Mamarazzi also ordered this Salt Baked Tilapia Fish. Takes 45 minutes to cook but luckily Mamarazzi pre-ordered this hence no waiting required.

Arrived aje, we can dig in liao.

Mamarazzi was raving about what was inside the fish tummy. It's stuffed full with chili, ginger, shallot, garlic and some dong guai. Mmmm.....taste great. Mamarazzi walloped a lot with rice.

The portion of the Poon Choy was also very big although we ordered the small size Poon Choy (RM168).

Good food and friendly service. Mamarazzi liked. Saw many photographs of Hong Kong Artist visiting the restaurant. Among them was Eric Tsang. A friend can't help remarking that the Lady Boss and Eric Tsang looked quite alike.

From Failure to Sucess - Chinese Steam Cake

Me became Guinea Pig again. Mamarazzi recently saw many blogs featuring Chinese Steam Cakes. Among them was Blog With Yan. She made it seem so simple.

Mamarazzi tried to copy that. The first round, she tried to make Raisin Steam Cake.

Two eggs, a cup of sifted flour, 3 table spoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/4 cup of water.

Whipped the eggs till fluff. Added sugar, flour, water and raisin.

Poured into the container and steamed in high heat for half an hour.

Result...failure....cake was not fluffy. Maybe did not beat the eggs long enough.

Second round, she tried to make it with Banana. End up the Banana "floated" to the top while the flour at the bottom. Must be too much water.

Third time lucky.

Wow....quite fluffy. Hmmm....still need to reduce a bit more water. Then it should be okay.

Not bad la the taste. The look also presentable. Got to practice some more. Who wanna volunteer to be the Guinea Pig?

One afternoon last month, after my class...I was rather naughty. Papa was angry with me. Kena scolding in the car.

I wanted Ice-cream. Papa said naughty boy cannot have Ice Cream.

".....but have to have Ice-cream....go buy ice cream..."

...gonna cry....sad....

In the end, I promised to be good boy. Papa drove us to Swensen's. The Waiter Uncle there gave me a packet of Crayons and paper.

Found this Volcano Ice Cream in the Kiddy Meal Section. RM9-90

Papa showed me how to make the Volcano goes "Toot Toot Toot". I also wanna do la.

We came just in time for their afternoon teatime promotion. Papa opt for the Coney dog set coz Mamarazzi wanted the Coffee. RM16-90.

The coffee had so much bubble at the top. At first Papa thought it was Milo. Funny Papa.

As for Papa, he had Sprite Float. They ran out of Vanilla Ice Cream. Papa chosen Mint Ice Cream to go with the drink. Papa likes Mint Ice Cream. RM15-90.

Mamarazzi had their Mushroom Soup RM12-90.

At first, Papa and Mamarazzi did not expect much but they were pleasantly surprised that the Soup tasted quite good. Have plenty of mushrooms in it.

For me...I love the Ice Cream...yummmm....

Mamarazzi Gone Cooking Crazy

Mamarazzi mentioned Umai served at Uncle Arthur's house the other day nice.

Papa said it's easy to make. Just need some prawns, cucumber, lime, small onions and chili

Peel off the shell of the prawns. Shred the cucumber. Slice the onions and chili. Dump everything into a bowl. Add some lime juice and a bit of sugar.

Mix everything and let it chill in the fridge. Then can serve liao.

Mamarazzi must be "siao liao"(crazy already) coz on the same day she got so carried away that she made Lemon Grilled Fish.

Aiyo...so many dishes..How to finish ah?

Mau tak mau(Want or don't want) have to finish also la.

Better pick up all the rice that dropped on the table else I get a pimply wife.

Thank You For The Seven+ Exfuze

A big Thank You to Kor Kor Jon's Mommy for blessing us with this special package. Received this on Friday afternoon.

Yup...it's Seven Plus Exfuze. Heard it's good for boosting up the immune system and helped fighting all sorts of ailments.

Kor Kor Jon's family is taking it and found it good hence sent us a bottle. Hopefully it can help Papa and me heal faster.

Mamarazzi googled and saw many testified that they got better from their ailment or at least Seven Plus Exfuze helped to reduce their ailments like diabetes, hypertension, H1N1 and etc. They felt healthier and more energized.

Mmm....it taste like "Ribena".

After recover, I can go gai-gai lor... Muhahahaha.

How Do You Like Your Porridge?

The other day when Mamarazzi found a red dot on my face, she thought it was mosquitoes bite. Lately, there are a lot of mosquitoes flying around

She was complaining to Papa why the Mosquitoes Spray aren't working. Maybe Mosquitoes are "immune" to the spray?

Then Papa pointed out that she had bought wrong type of Spray. No doubt both also have picture of Mosquitoes on the canister but one are for Mosquitoes while the other is for "Serangga"(Insects). Haiz...no wonder lah the Mozzie won't die. She did no read the label properly.

Anyway, that night when more dots appeared, she baru realised it's HMFD.

The next day I was on an "Invalid Diet" again. Haiz...sick also become Guinea Pig. She was cooking plain porridge and several dishes to go with it.

Cooked Si Chuan Chye. Bought a handful of sliced Si Chuan Chye. Soak them and throw away the water a few times so that it won't be too salty and spicy. Cut some garlic, a few pieces of meat and some tomatoes. She ran out of tomatoes so she used cherry tomatoes.

Just stir-fry them with some oyster sauce and it's done. Papa and Mamarazzi love to have these with plain porridge.

Then she took out the Ikan Terubuk Masin(Salted Fish) that she bought from Sibu. Washed, patted dry and fried it.

Still quite salty and this fish had a lot of small bones. I didn't like it.

For me, I love my porridge with salted eggs.

Must be egg whites only. I don't like the egg yolk.

How do you like your porridge?

Oh ya...don't worry. Am quite fine. Even with HMFD, I still managed to shake my booties. Check out my video here.

My comments :

I found that the beginning of the book was a bit slow for me and I was confused by the story as the author introduced many characters almost simultaneously.

However, the story got better halfway through the book. I like the way the author focus on Darlene and her daughter, Gracie. However, I was rather doubtful of Gracie's problem which is said to crop up from trying to be perfect. She seems to have everything; a good family and a good school result. Trying to be good all the time did not sound to me that it would create the problem that Gracie had.

Darlene's problem is more believable to me as each day were are faced with temptation. And Dave certainly poses a big problem. Readers can't help but to sympathise with Dave.

Overall, I like the way the author integrated the faith in God through out the book. Although each person in the family have their own problems but their faith never wavered. Through their faith, they influenced the people around them to open up to God.

I give this book 3 stars out of 5. It is highly recommended to those who needs a bit more encouragement and motivations in life.

Last week my "school" was closed for cleaning and disinfection.

My classmates had HMFD.

Looks like the classmates "shared" his/her virus with me lor .

Tuesday evening, tiny pokka dots started to appear. Not much. Just a few here and there.

Mamarazzi said looks like kena lottery liao lo.

There are three ulcers in my throat.

Mamarazzi said that I am very "LEMBU" (Cow- also means savage) coz I can really stand the pain. Not much complaints from me regarding sore throat. If it was Mamarazzi, she would have howled even if it was just a tiny ulcer.

Went to see doctor to get something for the ulcers. HMFD no cure. Just need to wait it out for around a week.

It was a long wait at the clinic.

Seems that there was an emergency case. An ambulance came and took the patient away.

Doctor says make sure I drink a lot of water....hehehe....means I get licence to drink as much 100 Plus as I can?

Also several of Mamarazzi's friends advised to give me Ice-cream to relieve the throat pain. Wah,...syok...no need to go to school...can watch TV, play computer, eat ice cream and drink 100 Plus as much as I want to.

But hor...one bad thing is no "gai-gai" for me lor. Grounded lo till all is well.

Looks like Mamarazzi will be digging her PC for back logged posts lor. Thousand apology if Mamarazzi won't be able to drop by your blogs these few days. Expected that I would be "monopolying" her much.

My Comments :

This is one of the most exciting book that I have ever read received from the publisher Thomas Nelson Publishing. I was given a copy of this to review without obligation in my part to give a glowing review. However, I am pleased to say that the authors had done well.

This book was full of suspense and I can't help but to finish it off at one setting.

The authors had captured human emotions effectively. I found myself tearing at the scene where they found the body and I can "feel" the frustration that Nicole felt when she saw her incompetent colleague was going to ruin the scene of the crime and yet she can't prevent it.

What I love about the book is that the authors managed to portray the severity of the crime without resorting to foul language and violent words. In fact, they even managed to put in the relationship with God without it being disruptive to the flow of the book.

I certainly look forward to the next book by the authors and impatiently waiting to see what role Ophelia is going to play in the next book.
