Round Round K.Trengganu Town

The next morning we woke up early....hmm...not really early la...around 8am. Went for a fast breakfast at Warung Norazila 2 before head over to Pasar Manir. Papa heard this Pasar Manir is even bigger than Pasar Payang . That during weekend, more vendors from the village will come and sell their product there.

Alamak...true what they say.....the market was very big. Round a few round, still can't find any parking. No wonder people says if wanna go to Manir Market , have to go early else difficult to find parking.

After some time...gave up....detoured to Cabang Tiga market. Seems that they have moved to new building. The place was quite clean and spacious.

Spotted this "fruit". Looks a bit like Ciku (sapodilla fruit) . Asked the vendor and she said it's Buah Binjai. The lady said it's used for cooking . Not sure whether it's related to keropok Belinjau or not.

Spotted another "new" thing. Not really new la but just that we have never seen it before. It's call Buah Perah.

Bought a packet of boiled Buah Perah for RM3. It's something like Buah Berangan (Chestnuts). Texture quite milky and there was a slight bitter after taste. Interesting.

On our way back, we pass by the Turtle Alley.

It's nice to see that they have revamp most of the alley around Chinatown with various theme.

 Presenting......

Can you see the "floor"? Mamarazzi trying to capture the art work on turtle....

Here is one...turtle laying eggs.  Can't capture it all coz too many people around the alley. Others waiting to snap photos too.

Just snap photo with this big big Turtle la. Not live one but will do la....

  1. I would like to try the buah Perah as I like to eat chestnuts and I would like to walk down turtle alley too as I remember reading that it is a very narrow alley and I like narrow alley. Small Kucing is having so much fun exploring the town.

    1. yea now its getting less and less turtle liao. Think this alley apart from being tourist attraction, it is also to teach the younger generation about protecting turtle
