Mamarazzi's East Meets West Recipe

After the sort of successful Roast Chicken , Mamarazzi become lazy again

Thought wanna make roast Chicken again geh...but mana tau korek the freezer only found a few pieces of Chicken meat and some oink oink meat...

errr....Oink Oink meat also can roast like roast chicken gua. Wokay ...pakai hentam la...marinate the chicken meat and oink oink meat . One hour before I came home, she stuff those into the oven and bake /roast whatever you call it la.

Saw in Kenny Roger's , Nando's and those restaurant they also offer side dish wor. Some have rice as side dish.

Again Mamarazzi pakai hentam recipe. Found a packet of long grain rice in the kitchen. Better use before the bugs attack. Melted a bit of ghee and fry it with some cinnamon, cloves and whatever spices she found in her spices bottle lah.

Wah...the smell...very aromatic oh.... dump into rice cooker and cook ...oh ya...sprinkled a bit of kunyit for coloring

Found some mixed vegetables in the freezer. defrosted and added some salad leaves which I love ....pour in some mayo.....

Kau tim ...two side dishes.....rojak nasi briyani and mixed vege.

Errr....so what meal is this? East meets west meal?

I also pakai hentam makan aje la. Not bad la. I like the meat coz this round she put more salt. It was tastier.

Rice looks good.. Macam yang kita makan kat luar type... Those Arabian restaurant rice.. Sedap.. I never thought of frying it with ghee and spices leh.. If me maybe I make likr KR rice, with capsicum & raisins.. Hehe..

Salad looks good too.. But princess ribbon don like vege.. Teehee.. I might make potato+egg salad.. Mamarazzi memang pandai la, can whip up a good homecooked lunch in no time.. Geng!

  10. Love your East meets West meals!!!!! Do you have slow cookers (crock pots) there? A delicious meal is to put some hunks of meat (beef/pork or chicken) into the crock pot. Then add some broth, some spices, and some fresh veggies (carrots, potatoes, onions, green pepper, etc.).... Put the pot on SLOW COOK --and let it cook for about 8 hours... That makes an incredibly delicious dinner (western style).
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  12. haha, Uncle SK loves Mamarazzi's cooking post!! so improvise and so cincai, but that's so creative of her lah.. that's the fun in the kitchen, instead of telling yourself "aiyoh, die lah, i don't have this and that" you must tell yourself "look, i don't have that but i have this!!".. many times not following the recipe, you instead discover better way and better taste, agree?? :)

  13. awww, this time Mamarazzi isn't lazy at all.. she did two side dishes to go with her roast.. and chicken with oink oink sounds interesting woh, one shot can try two types of roast.. Uncle SK loves that rice woh, looks nice, Nando's and Kenny Rogers also serve rice as side dishes (though Uncle SK never picked that lah, he prefers the potato salad, pasta salad and fruit salad - almost every time also these three, haha, so boring).. and mixed veggie salad, looks good dei.. reminds me of that tangy salad from KFC long time ago but they also have stopped this long time ago, Uncle SK wonders why, this salad is so much better than their self-proclaimed coleslaw dei.. really, their coleslaw "sharks" big time..
