Mr Black Handmade Pau, Tanjung Sepat

First stop at Tanjung Sepat.....Hai Yew Heng Pau shop. Was afraid the shop would be closed coz it was nearly 6pm when we arrived.

They have all sorts of pau but too bad they ran out of the famous Mui Chai Pau(Perserved Vegetable Pau)

Then Mamarazzi remembered that there is another shop named Mr Black that sells Mui Chai Pau too.

Asked a local and she brought us there. It's located at No 542 Lorong 2, Tanjung Sepat. Telephone number as per photo.

They were closing for the day but they did accept Mamarazzi's order. Yay! they still have Mui Chai Pau.

Some of the Pau are pricier than at our home but it was compensated by the larger size.

While waiting for the lady to pack the Paus, Uncle Arthur offered me one of the Pau he bought from Hai Yew Heng. It was a meat Pau(Sang yok Pau)..I was surprised to find boiled egg in the pau. Why at our home here, the Sang Yuk Pau doesn't have eggs geh?  Taste nicer.

Uncle Arthur was curious why they put the Pau in front of the big fan. According to the lady, it was to make the pau rise up faster.

Mamarazzi told me not to play around here coz dangerous. he fan might cut off my fingers...but there was a big scary dog at the gate leh...

Auntie Lucy! ready or no? open the car door! I am going to make a run for it!. Mamarazzi laughed at me coz scared of the dog. It was on a leash mah....Nothing to be scared of.

The local that brought us there also told Mamarazzi that they have another famous Pau maker there called Ah Ng Pau. She claimed that most locals would buy from this Ah Ng. Well, as we had bought so many paus already...maybe next time we will seek out the Ah Ng Pau and see.

The next day Mamarazzi heat up the Paus and we had it for breakfast. She likes the Tau Sar Pau(red Bean pau) very much. Papa likes the Mui Chai pau as they are not that oily.

She also heat up some delicious fish balls that we bought from Tanjung Sepat

Next stop...Lover's Bridge and Baywatch!
